Support with meal preparation and feeding

Support with meal preparation and feeding for the service user to a basic standard of cookery competence in line with the cultural and medical needs of the service user’s diet. Support will include the following; cooking ready meals in the microwave/oven, cooking fresh meals, making sandwiches, serving snacks or fruits, heating up home cooked food in the microwave/hub, cooking breakfast or serving cereals/porridges, light fry-ups, helping service user to eat by cutting the food into small pieces or feeding, peg feeding, making hot drink of choice and serving drinks- water, juice, prescribed nutritional drink but not alcohol
